A dandelion woman, arms open, emerges from the heart of a great bloom as the sun blazes behind her — her seeds of possibility radiating outward like rays of light into an infinite sky. The sun shines brightest in darkness. She stands with arms open wide — like the dandelion’s rays reaching outward — fully at home in the light of new seeds, new possibilities, new growth.

This painting was created in just two days — born of urgency, intuition, and the kind of creative surrender that only a deadline can demand. It was submitted to the Milan Art Gallery’s juried exhibition Seeds of the Sun in Sarasota, Florida in March 2025 — Désirée’s first ever gallery submission.

Acrylic and oil on gallery-grade 1.5” deep stretched canvas. 24” × 36”. Completed March 2025. Signed by the artist. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with your painting.
