A Sacred Vision

Ganesh in the Mandir was created as an offering of sacred art and healing intention, inspired by the sacred energy of the Penukonda Ashram in South India, a holy site built by the miracle healing Saint, Sri Swami Kaleshwar.

This painting is of a small Ganesh statue — guardian of the Mandir temple, watching over the living Murthi of Shirdi Sai Baba.

Into the paint itself Désirée wove sacred ash — vibhuti — and sandalwood powder from the Penukonda Ashram, applied with vibrations of prayer and mantra. This is not simply a print. It carries the intention of the original — the devotion, the ceremony, the blessing.
