Silver Forest | Unframed Fine Art Paper Print

Into the Silver Woods

A dense silver birch forest in the depths of winter — cool blue-purple shadows falling between pale trunks, warm brown bark catching the light, bare branches reaching into a silvery atmosphere. Painted in watercolor by Isabel Tribler, Silver Forest captures the hushed, otherworldly beauty of a woodland in repose. It is a painting of extraordinary atmosphere, where the forest is asleep.

Isabel Tribler (1938–2020) was a painter, mother, and the quiet creative force behind a family legacy of art. Throughout her life she was drawn to the forests and landscapes of Europe — their silence, their seasonal light, their sense of something ancient and enduring. Silver Forest is one of her most atmospheric works.
