A Path through Soignes — Framed Fine Art Paper Print

Light Through the Trees

A Path through Soignes captures a sun-dappled forest path in the full warmth of summer, where soft greens, golden light, and earthy browns come together in a scene of extraordinary tranquility. Isabel’s masterful handling of light and atmosphere transforms a simple woodland walk into something deeply felt — a moment of stillness and beauty that invites you to step inside.

Isabel Tribler (1938–2020) was a painter, mother, and the quiet creative force behind a family legacy of art. Believed to have been painted in the Forêt de Soignes — the ancient woodland at the heart of Brussels, where Isabel lived for many years after leaving her native Norway — A Path through Soignes carries the quiet soul of a place deeply loved. It is a painting born of belonging, of long walks through familiar trees, of light that she knew by heart.
